The first step to getting ahead of your competition is to get closer to

E-mail is they are personal and each one will put you a step ahead of the
competition.
People enjoy receiving personal mail. The recipient knows that the mail
is for his or her sole consideration. The message is therefore viewed as
personal, intimate, and exclusive.
It's a level of service that's unexpected, delivered at random, and out of the ordinary.
It generates word-of-mouth
advertising, builds customer loyalty, creates pleasant memories, and leaves
the customer feeling good.
Successful salespeople recognize that sales begin and end with people. Corporations
don't hold negotiations, people do. Sales is a human institution that serves
people, not solely a money making organization. And, unlike most other mediums,
proven sales letters and E-mails are not viewed as another form of advertising,
but as a form of service to a valued customer.
Done right, every sales letter or E-mail contributes to building a positive,
long-term personal relationship.
