The top 10 reasons why my sales letters will sell you more stuff!
#6: Brain Food! Nourish Your Mind With Words
You're not dressed for success until your vocabulary is as well polished
as your shoes.
Every word you say affects what customers and prospects alike think of you.
A strong vocabulary signifies intelligence and authority. The more eloquently
you speak, the more others view you as having good judgment and discrimination.
The
more value they place on you and your ideas. The more apt they are to listen
to and comply with your ideas and wishes.
My experience with writing proven sales letters has taught me that when
you put your thoughts in writing, as you do in a sales letter, you do it
one word at a time. This allows you to reread them, rearrange them, study
them, analyze them, and thus, use your words with precision and power. And
best of all, once written, no matter what your vocabulary was before, they
are now retained and easy to use eloquently in your speaking vocabulary.
The simple act of writing sales letters will empower you to add hundreds
of new words to your vocabulary, words that will impart precision and vitality
to your conversations and make everyone who listens know instantly that you
are worth listening to.
Let this be your wake-up call; every day you work with words yet using them
properly is the most neglected of selling skills.
Good luck and good selling,
